Are updates carried out on a regular
basis?
Updates are carried out once each year. They cost 20 %
of the current sale
price.
Why are your prices so low?
We can afford to offer this low price for two reasons. One,
because we
have a huge number of clients – about 25,000 businesses
worldwide who
using our applications, and this number is increasing every
day. And
two, because our clients stay with us and renew the database with us
every year so they can have the most current lists.
Can you handle our direct marketing
campaign (e-mailing, faxing, or mail order )?
Our area of operations is focused specifically on developing our
applications, and for the time being we do not handle our clients'
marketing campaigns. However, the guide included along with every
directory contains contact information for what we consider to be the
best providers (best in terms of quality/price ratio) located in UK and
elsewhere Worldwide.
Is this type of e-mailing campaign legal?
B2B e-mailing is completely legal if the addresses are collected
properly. It would be illegal if you were to use automatic search
engines for the purpose of mining e-mail addresses. Note that contrary
to popular belief, you do not need permission to send unsolicited
emails to businesses on business matters. This exemption does not apply
to consumer, i.e. private, email addresses.
Please find detailed information on the Business Link Government website.
Furthermore, when you send out your e-mails, it is very important for
you to give your prospective client the option of removing his/her name
from your list. In order to automate this function and to satisfy
criteria pertaining to security and reliability, we strongly recommend
that you use an external provider to send your e-mails rather than
sending them yourself. A list of providers is included in the guide
that we send to all our clients.
Finally, as a way of protecting yourself from any complaints, we
recommend that you send your e-mails to a limited number of recipients
(no more than 20,000 per operation). You can define your e-mailing
campaign by targeting a specific area of business/industry or a
particular region, for example (e.g.: all printers located in London).
How do you source your data?
Our data is compiled from a wide variety of Opt-In sources. The owners
of the email addresses in our database have opted to list their
email/website address within the various UK regional business
directories for marketing and advertising purposes. We also process
thousands of weekly live feeds from Companies House, BT, Royal Mail and
the Department of Trade and Industry and update the database twice a
year.
What is the cost to send emails?
We strongly
recommend that you
use an external provider to send your e-mails rather than sending them
yourself. These providers costs are very reasonable, as they charge
only 1-2 US Cent for every e-mail that is sent. An example of such a
provider is Streamsend.com. You'll find a list
of providers in the free guide that you'll receive along with your
order.
What form of payment do you accept?
You can pay by bank transfer in £(GBP) to our bank account in
the UK.
(Payment instructions are located on the invoice generated at the end
of the order process) We dont accept payment by credit cards during
this special offer, due to the high level of fraudulent orders.
How will I receive the application? How long
will it take to get the application?
As soon as we receive your payment, we will send you the link by email
to download the ordered application(s).
What
operating system is needed to run the Mailingtonic applications?
The Mailingtonic Applications run on all Windows
versions.
